Solutions For The Doubts
Find all the essential information you need in our FAQ section, designed to address the most frequently asked questions and help you make informed decisions for your child’s education.
Are the teachers at Udgamverse qualified to teach a Canadian syllabus?
Yes. All OSSD courses at Udgamverse are taught by Rosedale OSSD qualified teachers who are trained to deliver the official Canadian curriculum and evaluate students based on Ontario’s provincial standards.
What is the OSSD and why is it recognized globally?
The Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) is the high school graduation certificate for the province of Ontario, Canada. It is recognized by top universities worldwide (including Ivy Leagues and Russell Group schools) because of its high academic standards and focus on real-world application.
When can my child enroll in the program at Udgamverse?
Students can enroll in the OSSD program starting from Grade 9 or Grade 11. Udgamverse offers specialized pathways for both 4-year and 2-year tracks depending on when the student joins.
How is the OSSD different from CBSE or IB?
The biggest difference is the 70/30 assessment model. Instead of an “all-or-nothing” final exam, 70% of a student’s grade is based on coursework, projects, and assignments throughout the year, with only 30% coming from the final exam. This reduces stress and rewards consistent effort.
Does my child need to move to Canada to complete this?
No. Your child can earn the full, internationally-recognized Canadian diploma right here in Ahmedabad at Udgamverse. They can chose to move abroad once they have secured their university admission.
Do you help with visa guidance?
Yes.
Students receive complete support, including admission guidance, documentation assistance, and visa application support to ensure a smooth transition abroad.
