Udgamverse Schools aim to traverse beyond the boundaries of educational excellence and offer students real-world experiences transcending borders.
Not only are these trips a chance for students to experience life on the other side of the world, but to give them the opportunity to witness and plan a better career, and exposure to cultural empathy an d ways of life.
Students also learn the values of living outside of parents’ habitat, and emotionally, as well as socially, discovering ways to live independently. Students make new friends, try new kinds of food, and experience cultural differences with emotional stability.
In a family abroad trip setting, the biggest conflict is difference of interests. Parents might want to go to places that don’t interest their kids or vice versa. At least one party ends up compromising on what could have been the experience of a lifetime. However, with school trips, the itinerary is designed keeping in mind the interests of young adults of the same age group.
As school trips are often in partnership with trusted and established agencies, the overall cost per person is much lower than what it would be with a family trip. Additionally, we also take care of all Visa applications, approvals and documentation, making it much easier for you to send your child on a trip abroad without any hassle.
It all began when Udgamverse took a big step forward by organising an international educational trip to the United Kingdom for IBCP and CBSE students of grades 9 to 12 from Udgam School and Zebar School. It was for the first time in over 60 years, that Udgam School for Children had taken such an initiative. In the year 2025-26, our schools went on 2 international trips across Japan and the UK, with the next trip to the US scheduled in June 2026.
“When parents take their children on tours abroad, they usually visit famous tourist spots, amusement parks, zoos and do shopping. But as a school, we wanted to give our students something more meaningful.”
The UK Edu-trip took place in May 2025 with a batch of 33 students, with Cambridge, Imperial College and Oxford on their itinerary.
The trip comprised a two-day academic program at Cambridge University, where experts guided students on how to build a strong profile, prepare for admission interviews and understand the application process.
Apart from University visits, other items on the itinerary were tourists’ spots like the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, British Museum, Oxford University, West End Theatre, museums, historical sites and many more.
Whilst traipsing around London, students soaked themselves in the full spectrum of what a world-class institution offers, not just academics, but an entire mindset shift.
This wasn’t just a trip; it was a gateway to unlocking future opportunities and visionary thinking with a perfect blend of education and entertainment.
“Earlier, Japan was just a country of technological advancements and innovations; but now it is much more than that; it is a place of marvel, wonder, beauty and development, and lying within it are memories with peers that I will never unlearn, lessons I will never forget, and friendships I will remember forever, in my heart….”
Our trip to Japan was a journey through science, technology and innovation. This all-round trip featured visits to Japan’s historical sites, museums, islands, educational institutes, metros, the Indian embassy, Tokyo Skytree, Hiroshima Peace Park, space and marine exploration agencies, and a lot more.
Students witnessed Japan’s rich cultural and natural heritage while experiencing the scope of their scientific developments with curiosity and wonder. Zooming through the busy and quiet streets of Tokyo, our students learned of discipline practised with discovery and peace.
This visit not only showcased Japan’s world-class culture but also motivated our students to dream big and explore global learning opportunities.
